    This dynamic 160+ person firm is seeking an Engineering Analyst to join its Investment Banking team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate should have an engineering degree and two years of relevant experience.


    The role:    

    Engineering Analysts at TPH engage in all aspects of macroeconomic, macro-energy, and asset level analysis that help drive TPH products, client interactions, and investment recommendations.  Specific tasks include data accumulation, aggregation and production analysis capabilities to obtain a comprehensive understanding of asset level economics, while learning to efficiently utilize the various databases and third party services that influence TPH’s products. Therefore, we value attention to detail, strong technical abilities, and self-motivated individuals.  Analysts will support investment banking teams across the energy subsectors including Oil Services, Exploration and Production, Midstream, and others.  Engineering analysts are staffed on deal teams and play an integral part for the business.  As such, we value maturity, interpersonal skills, and effective presentation skills.  Time management is also important as analysts are often tasked with multiple assignments at one time.  Finally, maintaining a collegial, dynamic, team-oriented culture is of the utmost importance at TPH and analysts will be judged on these values.

    Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering is required, Petroleum Engineering is preferred.
